Laminate vs carpeting when selling home in months

I absolutely need to replace carpeting in master bedroom and vino in master bath. Should I consider replacing rest of carpet upstairs? Then main floor am I better to do laminate or carpet replace downstairs. I only plan to stay in house for a few months. Just till house sell. Suggestions on best approach? I don’t want to spend a lot of money. W Better to is laminate ord carpet!
